Cooking with our sauces….
Today I am going to spotlight our Spicy Apricot Sauce.
In my house we eat this meal once a week!!! So easy, loved by everyone and healthy!
I start by preheating the oven to 415 degrees.
Then we cut up our favorite veggies: asparagus, mushrooms, colored peppers, Brussel sprouts and onions if I have them.
Next, I drizzle them with olive oil and roasted garlic and add sausage. We love the chicken apple sausage.
Large chunks work best for that everything doesn’t turn to mush while cooking.
Bake for 15 minutes.
Remove from oven and flip everything.
Bake another 15 minutes.
Remove from oven and flip everything again.
Now here is the cherry on top! I drizzle our Spicy Apricot Sauce on top of the whole tray! It gives it a slight spice and sweet. Kicks up the flavor while balancing out the whole meal.
*Helpful Tip the sauce is very thick, so I do add a little water and shake the bottle to make it drizzle able.

Tuesday’s are our favorite day of the week because we get to give 10% back! Every Tuesday we give 10% of dine in and carry out sales to a local non profit. For the month of April our 10% Tuesday organization is Camp Cavell.
Camp Cavell is a three season camp which has served children in the Metropolitan Detroit Community for over 100 years. We are located on 55 acres of land, with 1,800 feet of beautiful Lake Huron shoreline in Lexington, Michigan.
We work with a unique mix of children and adults from very different economic and social backgrounds. A large number of the children we serve are from economically depressed areas, have a disability or are “at risk” in some way. We feel these groups of children need to be exposed to new challenges and growth opportunities in the out of doors.

You know we love Tuesday’s around here because it is the day we give back! Every Tuesday for the month of March we will be giving back 10% of all dine in and take out sales to Lelito’s Legacy Foundation .
Lelito’s Legacy Foundation was created by St. Clair native, now professional football player; Tim Lelito for the sole purpose of helping kids without the financial means to participate in sports. Growing up, sports were a major part of Tim’s life. Raised by his grandparents, they found themselves many times struggling to get the money for him and his siblings to stay in sports. Tim commends sports for helping him get through High School and become the first person in his immediate family to graduate.
This Foundation helps children and young adults that are not financially blessed though want to have a better future. Taking care of things like Pay-to-play charges, equipment and transportation are just some of the things that we help provide.
